Looking forward but with lonely heart.
Nothing wrong. The kids are with their father, and I am happy for them and him, but sometimes the quiet makes me heartsick. I think it is an early morning, too much time to think thing.

I would be heart broken a little too...you need a plan. When you know they are going away...to keep yourself busy. Go out to lunch with a friend...Go for a walk...Clean your house...something to take your mind off...I hope they come home soon!!
The heart, says the book,
is a lonely hunter—it
seeks and sometimes finds.
My Six Words
Some days are just a little less bright... and that's kind of wonderful in its own right. Getting in touch with it - I don't know - is healing somehow. Thanks for sharing your six words!
I'm the same way. The silence can be too much sometimes. Almost as loud and the noise. Go out with some friends, have lunch or hit a movie. Hopefully this will get your mind moving! :o)
Happy SWS!
No, it's a MOM thing. When your kids aren't with you, your arms feel empty. I empathize!
*hugs*
You'll learn to love the times your children go with there Dad. Every mom, married or single, needs kid-free time. Start reconnecting with friends without kids, start taking a yoga or kickboxing class...do something for YOU.
Looking forward GOOD - Lonely Heart BAD
Maybe do something to keep yourself busy? Awww....
Early mornings and late nights are tough when you're feeling a little blue. Take a few moments for something you wouldn't ordinarily be able to do.
Thanks for playing 6WS!
Back many decades ago in college I read somewhere a quote by someone that said "he who knows no solitude knows no freedom."
I've always believed that found it to be true in my life. I'm free when alone.
A couple months after reading that, I was at a picnic with a bunch of eggheads and was sitting off to the side by myself. This really pretty redheaded egghead came up to me and asked why I was sitting there all by myself.
I laid that quote on her.
It blew her away and got her all flustered.
Embrace your time to think, allow your thoughts to flow. As tempting as it may be to distract yourself with activity, don't, be with yourself.
