A New Six Word Saturday

Find your way to Cate:

I am becoming a good cook?

Okay, my gran's health isn't the best, so I am sending food to her so she doesn't have to cook as often. She told me my stew was cookbook worthy, and I am "becoming" a good cook. Mmmm, I have been on my own for thirteen years.

Regardless of your age or accomplishments, you're always a "little girl" in Grandma's eyes...

It takes years to learn to cook to Grandma's standards...She's had so much more experience.

Thanks for stopping by my blog...

Good job...I think cooking is something that requires practice but that anyone is capable of.

Aww, how cute. It's great that you're helping her out like that and that she's realizing you're a big girl now.

Thanks for playing 6WS.

To become a chef,
you must practice, practice more,
until you’ve got it!

According to Blue's Clues, which I get to watch multiple times a day thanks to 3 small boys, you can be anything that you wanna be! :)

Happy belated 6WS! :)

A wise woman once told me that you cannot become a good cook until you have lived enough to fully savor the sweet and savory in any meal.

Here's to savoring every ounce of flavor! Cheers to you!
